Transcript & Show Notes Generator — questions, answered

What do I get from a single upload?+

One run produces six deliverables: a full speaker-separated transcript, a short summary, podcast-ready show notes, chapter markers with timestamps, key takeaways, and ready-to-post social snippets. You can copy any tab to your clipboard or download as .txt, .srt, or Markdown.

Which audio and video formats are supported?+

MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG for audio, and MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, MKV for video — up to 1GB per file. We automatically extract the audio track from video, so you don't need to convert anything first.

How is the cost calculated?+

Cost is based on duration — transcription is 1.5 credits per minute (1 credit equals 1 minute of audio/video cleanup; transcription is billed at 1.5×). We read the file duration in your browser before upload, so the exact cost appears in the review step before you start. Generating all six deliverables does not cost extra credits compared to transcript only.

Does it separate speakers?+

Yes. The transcript groups text by speaker turn with timestamps, so it's easy to follow interviews, panels, or multi-person meetings. You can export the speaker-tagged transcript as plain text or as SRT subtitles.

Can I get subtitles for my video?+

Yes — every transcript can be downloaded as an .srt file, which is the standard subtitle format accepted by YouTube, Vimeo, Premiere, Final Cut, Resolve, and most other editors.
