This Privacy Policy explains what information Denoisr collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it to be readable — not just legally complete.

1. What We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide (such as your name). This is used to manage your account and contact you about the service.

When you upload a file (audio or video) for cleanup, we store it temporarily in our own Cloudflare R2 storage so our AI cleanup partner can fetch and process it. We do not use your files to train AI models, and we do not share them with any party beyond what's needed to process your request.

Source files (what you upload) are automatically deleted from our R2 storage within 24 hours on all plans.
Processed files (the cleaned result) retention depends on your plan: 7 days on Free, 30 days on Starter and Creator, 90 days on Pro. They are served from a nearby Cloudflare edge during that window.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use Denoisr — things like which features you use, how many files you process, and when you log in. This helps us understand how the product is being used and improve it.

Device and Browser Information

We collect basic technical information when you access our service: browser type, operating system, IP address, and referring URL. This is standard for any web service and is used for security and performance monitoring.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes. You can configure your browser to block cookies, but some parts of the service may not work correctly if you do.

Payment Information

Payments are handled by Creem. We do not store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of payment and your subscription status from Creem, but not your full card number or CVV.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide the service: Process your audio and video files and return cleaned results
To manage your account: Authentication, processing-time tracking, subscription management
To communicate with you: Service updates, billing notifications, support responses
To improve the product: Understanding how people use Denoisr helps us make it better
To ensure security: Detecting abuse, preventing fraud, and protecting accounts

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Your Files — Specifically

Because file privacy matters:

Source files (audio or video) you upload are stored in our Cloudflare R2 bucket via a short-lived presigned upload URL, then fetched from that R2 location by our specialist AI audio processing provider to run the cleanup. The name of our current processing provider is available on request from support@denoisr.com.
Source files are deleted from R2 within 24 hours on all plans; processed outputs are deleted after 7 days on Free, 30 days on Starter and Creator, 90 days on Pro
Our systems and our processing partner necessarily analyze signal data and job metadata to perform the cleanup and return results
We do not manually listen to or watch your files as part of normal operations
We do not train AI models on your audio or video

4. Third-Party Services

Running Denoisr requires a few third-party services. Here's what each receives:

We limit sharing to service providers needed to run Denoisr. We do not share your data with unrelated third parties.

5. Data Retention

6. Your Rights

You can:

Access your data — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Delete your account — contact support and we'll remove your account and associated data
Correct your information — update your email or profile in your account settings
Export your data — ask us for an export of your account data

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data:

HTTPS for all connections
Encryption at rest for files stored in Cloudflare R2
Access controls limiting which systems and personnel can access data
Short-lived presigned upload URLs (typically 1 hour) for browser-direct uploads to R2
