Introduction
What is Denoisr?
Denoisr is an AI-powered audio noise removal tool designed for podcasters, course creators, interviewers, and anyone who records voice content. Upload your audio file and Denoisr removes background noise — HVAC hum, fan noise, electrical buzz, room ambience — while preserving the natural quality of your voice.
No plugins, no manual noise profiles, no complex settings. Upload, process, download.
How It Works
Denoisr uses a neural network trained on large datasets of speech and background noise. When you upload a file, the model analyzes the audio and separates voice from non-voice sounds, then outputs a cleaned version with the background noise removed.
The process takes a few seconds to a few minutes depending on file length.
Supported Use Cases
- Podcasts — Clean up interview recordings, solo episodes, and remote guest audio
- Online courses — Remove fan and HVAC noise from screencasts and lesson recordings
- YouTube voiceovers — Get clean narration without treating your recording space
- Interviews and field recordings — Reduce background noise from recordings made in imperfect environments
- Meeting recordings — Improve intelligibility of video call transcripts and replays
What Denoisr Handles Well
Denoisr is most effective on steady-state (stationary) noise — background sounds that are consistent and don't change much over time:
- HVAC and air conditioning hum
- Computer fan noise
- Electrical interference (50/60 Hz hum)
- Room ambience and light reverb
- Low-level traffic noise
It can reduce but not always fully remove variable noise — sounds that appear suddenly and unpredictably (a dog barking mid-sentence, a door slamming). For those, manual editing is typically still needed.
Processing Time and Usage
Denoisr uses a time-based system: 1 second of processing time = 1 second of uploaded audio. The exact amount deducted equals the duration of your uploaded file, rounded up to the nearest second.
| Plan | Included Processing Time |
|---|---|
| Free | 300s (5 min) |
| Starter | 10,800s (3 hours) |
| Creator | 36,000s (10 hours) |
| Pro | 108,000s (30 hours) |
Your remaining processing time is checked before cleanup begins. If your file is longer than your balance allows, you'll be prompted to upgrade before the file is processed.
File Requirements
- Supported formats: MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG
- Maximum file size: 500 MB
- One file at a time per processing request
For best results, upload files with a consistent background noise level throughout. Recordings with extremely variable noise environments (e.g., switching between indoors and outdoors mid-recording) may produce uneven results.
Getting Started
- Sign up for a free account — you receive 300 seconds (5 minutes) of processing time on registration
- Go to the homepage and upload your audio file
- Wait for processing to complete
- Download the cleaned file
No configuration needed. If you want to adjust the noise reduction level, use the sensitivity slider that appears after uploading.
Tips for Best Results
- Record in a quiet environment first. Noise removal works best when the background noise is low to begin with. Every improvement at the recording stage makes the output cleaner.
- Process before other edits. Run noise removal on your raw recording before applying compression, EQ, or normalization. Processing a file that's already been compressed can raise artifacts.
- Use headphones when evaluating. Laptop speakers mask noise at low levels. Headphones reveal the actual quality of the output and let you catch artifacts you'd miss otherwise.
- Don't over-process. If the output sounds unnatural or "watery," try a lower sensitivity setting. The goal is to reduce background noise to an acceptable level, not to eliminate every trace at the cost of voice quality.
