Denoisr Voice Check privacy policy

Effective July 29, 2026. This policy applies to the Denoisr Voice Check extension distributed through the Chrome Web Store.

What the extension processes

When you start a test, the extension temporarily processes microphone audio in memory to calculate approximate loudness, peak, clipping, silence, speech, and noise-floor measurements. Nothing is uploaded to Denoisr or any third party. The extension does not collect, sell, share, or transmit personal data, browsing data, analytics, identifiers, or microphone recordings.

Storage and retention:
The temporary sample exists only in the popup's memory. It is discarded when you retest, cancel, or close the popup unless you explicitly download it to your device.
Remote services:
The extension does not contact a server to perform the test and does not use advertising or analytics services.
Children:
The extension is a general-purpose audio utility and is not directed to children or designed to collect information from them.
Policy changes:
Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date before they apply.

Permissions and user control

Chrome asks you for microphone access only after you click Start. You can deny or revoke that permission in Chrome at any time. The packaged extension declares no persistent permissions, host permissions, background service worker, or content scripts. The link to denoisr.com opens only after your click and is governed by the website's separate privacy policy if you choose to use it.

Microphone:
Used only for the active, visible test you initiate.
Download:
The browser downloads a sample only when you press Download sample.
Website link:
The Denoisr website is not opened automatically.
