Denoisr Voice Check support

Help for installing the Chrome Web Store extension, allowing the microphone, understanding results, and protecting your local sample.

Quick troubleshooting

Open the extension from Chrome's toolbar, start a test, and speak at your normal recording volume. If no signal appears, confirm that the correct microphone is connected and that Chrome has microphone access in your operating-system settings.

Permission denied:
Open Chrome site settings for the extension, allow microphone access, and retry.
No microphone found:
Reconnect the device, confirm it is selected by your operating system, and reopen the popup.
Result seems too quiet:
Move closer, choose the intended microphone, or raise input gain slightly before retesting.
Sample privacy:
The test is local and the sample is not uploaded. Closing the popup discards it unless you downloaded it.

Common support questions

Why did the popup close during a test?+

Chrome extension popups close when focus moves away. Reopen the extension and start a new test; the previous local sample has been discarded.

Why does the result change?+

The tool measures each short sample. Changes in speaking volume, distance, microphone selection, and room noise can change the result.

Does the extension clean my audio?+

No. Its single purpose is checking the microphone setup before recording. The optional Denoisr website can clean a file only after you choose to upload it there.

What should I include in a bug report?+

Include your Chrome version, operating system, microphone model, the step that failed, and a screenshot without sensitive information.
